How CelticMFF orders listings

On CelticMFF, payment never changes a listing's position.

A free listing and a paid Full Profile follow the same ordering rules. A Full Profile is a professionally structured mini-website inside CelticMFF, built from the organizer's official information, media and links. It buys more information for visitors, not a place ahead of another festival.

What determines the order

The directory opens with six upcoming events that have confirmed dates, soonest first. Search results show upcoming events with confirmed dates first, soonest first, followed by all other matches in alphabetical order by name. "Show more" reveals further matches. Search by place, country, or event type to narrow the results. Payment is not an ordering factor, and search matches the same information for every listing.

A listing may carry a date-verification note. A place in the upcoming view is not a separate guarantee that every detail has been confirmed. Visitors should check the festival's official source before making travel plans.

What a Full Profile changes

A Full Profile can bring sourced photos, program details, ticket links, travel information and a last-checked date together. It does not buy ranking, priority placement or editorial preference.

Full Profile directory cards carry a green banner labeled "Full Profile." This identifies the fuller page, not an editorial recommendation, and does not change ordering. Demonstration pages are also labeled "Demo." Any further visual distinction will be disclosed here before it is introduced.

Another doorway to the festival

CelticMFF does not replace a festival's website. The official website remains the festival's home online. A CelticMFF Full Profile is another page about the festival within CelticMFF's directory of Celtic festivals and events, built from official information and linked back to the festival's website and ticket sources.

Festivals with a great, current website may only need the free listing.

Search engines are separate

Search engines independently decide which pages they display and where. CelticMFF does not sell or guarantee Google rankings.

Full Profiles provide a more complete page for visitors and search engines to understand. They do not include a traffic, search-ranking or ticket-sales guarantee.
